This photo represents Peter Gregory from Silicon Valley. It represents him through the main subject (a workstation) which represents his heavy focus on his job (venture capitalist). The large amount of books and papers represents his inexplicably vast knowledge.
This photo is similar to Jay Maisel’s photos because it only includes the important parts of the subject. Jay Maisel’s photo only includes the objects on the desk and the window in order to convey a certain feeling; the desk itself isn’t included so the viewer isn’t distracted. My photo is similar because it also removes all elements of the setting that could possibly be distracting to the viewer and only leaves the viewer with the important subject (the desk).
This photo’s strength is a clear subject and a specific mood/tone. The lack objects that aren’t on the desk gives a feeling of focus.
